With any Brave Nu venture, you can choose your own stay.  Programs are sold as Program No Hotel and Program + Hotel. 

Program No Hotel means you book accommodation separately.  You may want to stay at a vacation rental or with friends.  You may be rooming with someone on the trip and splitting the cost among yourselves.  You may even be local – looking to explore your own backyard.

If you want to book a hotel with us, look for the Program + Hotel package or the link to hotels with Brave Nu rates. We partner with fantastic hotels located in residential areas.

Before booking with Brave Nu Ventures, please review our full Terms of Service & Waiver of Liability. By booking a trip with us, you agree to these terms and conditions.  Your booking with us is not confirmed until you receive a receipt and confirmation email.

To secure a spot on one of our trips, there is a deposit required and payment terms are as follows:

Deposit = 25% of Trip Cost

90 Days Prior = 50% of Trip Cost Due

60 Days Prior = 75% of Trip Cost Due

30 Days Prior = 100% of Trip Cost Due

Prior to the trip, you must submit a provided Health & Safety form with information on fitness for the trip and emergency contact information.

While Brave Nu Ventures does NOT provide travel insurance, it is strongly recommended you secure travel insurance to protect against all the ways travel can go wrong.

We recommend World Nomads but you can purchase from your preferred provider. You are responsible for your trip insurance. In the event you are ill and/or unable to make all or part of your trip, you are responsible for the cost of the trip in accordance with Brave Nu Ventures terms and conditions.

By booking a trip with us, you represent that you do not have any illness, physical or other conditions that would create a hazard for you or other travelers or affect other people’s enjoyment of the trip. Please let us know of any health conditions or special needs, such as accessibility or food restrictions. Brave Nu ventures typically include 1-2 miles of walking each day. Transportation is primarily premium ride shares and local transit.

Before each trip, travelers will be informed of the latest COVID-19 protocols in place and local destination laws. Travelers are responsible for following COVID-19 protocols while traveling to and from the destination. 

Because the vaccines have been so effective at preventing severe illness from COVID-19, we encourage but do not require all participants to be fully vaccinated.  We require Brave Nu Ventures staff be vaccinated and up to date with all recommended boosters. Those who are vaccinated should carry their original vaccination card and keep a digital copy. 

Please be aware that certain venues or events may require you verify your vaccination status, wear a mask, and/or provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test. You will be notified of protocols at venues and events prior to your trip.  We will do our best to arrange alternatives if needed.

Brave Nu Ventures staff is trained in local COVID-19 protocol and will notify health authorities if any guest becomes ill on the trip.  Anyone with symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or who tests positive will not be permitted to rejoin the program and must remain in isolation per local regulations.  The person may return once there is a negative test or a medical professional deems the ill person fit to resume group activities. Anyone exposed to the a person with COVID-19 must follow local quarantine and isolation guidance.
